Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan wish Indian Coach: Ravi Shastri received heartily wishes from several Indian cricketers.

India Head Coach Ravi Shastri has turned 57 years old today. Ab able all-rounder of his time, Shastri joined Indian cricket team’s management during their tour of England in 2014. Having joined the team as Team Director, Shastri currently coaches the team across formats.

Before turning to coaching, Shastri’s line of work has seen him working extensively as a cricket commentator. Some of his most important lines ended up becoming favourites of fans across the world.

In 230 matches across formats, Shastri had scored 10,835 including 15 centuries and 30 half-centuries. Also an astute left-arm spinner, Shastri dismissed 280 batsmen including three five-wicket hauls.

Shastri’s birthday saw him receiving wishes from India captain Virat Kohli, limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma, opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan on social media platform Twitter.

Among the other cricketers, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane and batsman Suresh Raina also wished Shastri on his birthday.
