Team India have staged an unbelievable comeback in the first semi-final of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at The Old Trafford stadium in Manchester.
The swashbuckling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has struck a scintillating half-century off just 39 deliveries to bring his team back into the run-chase after receiving a massive setback with the top four batsmen getting dismissed within the first ten overs. India, were 24 for the loss of 4 wickets at one point of time in the match.
Skipper Virat Kohli (1 off 6), Rohit Sharma (1 off 4) and KL Rahul (1 off 7) rarely got out cheaply when their team needed it the most.
He played his innings with an absolutely amazing controlled aggression alongside the veteran and the calm customer MS Dhoni at the other end.
Out comes the sword celebration
After completing his half-century, Jadeja brought out of his casket his ever popular sword celebration and looked in utmost control of him and well on verge of playing a match-winning knock in a World Cup semi-final.
He has in fact, had a brilliant day at The Old Trafford today, with a couple of amazing pieces of fielding display by the 30-year-old. He has proved each of his critics wrong with this superb all-round cricket, and will look to finish the deal and march India on to their fourth final in World Cup history.

At the time of writing, India had posted a total of 199 for the loss of six wickets in 46.2 overs. Ravindra Jadeja (74* off 55 deliveries) and MS Dhoni (36* off 63) were still battling it out at the crease, with the team needing another 39 runs in 20 deliveries.
