Real Madrid’s new signing Takefusa Kubo claims Real Madrid as the best team in the world.
Real Madrid’s new signing Takefusa Kubo says Real Madrid are the best team in the world. The 18-year-old previously represented Barcelona between 2011 and 2015, before getting released by the Blaugrana.
Following Kubo’s exit from Nou Camp, he spent two years at FC Tokyo, before Real Madrid coveted him to sign him. Despite the impressive displays in training, the attacking midfielder will fare for Real Castilla in the upcoming season.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, Kubo said: “Well I have learned a lot as a player and person. I’m having a great time on and off the pitch.
“The quality, on top of everything. They all have great quality.” the 18-year-old said of his teammates.
Kubo, who is yet to fare in the Spanish top division, stated that he was overwhelmed by the treatment from his teammates and technical staff at Real Madrid. He also wishes to take advantage of this situation and grab the chance to take his career to the next level.
“In truth, I was not expecting my teammates and technical staff to be really kind, which helped me to adapt well.
“I have to take advantage of this opportunity. But, I also need to have a good time because not everybody gets this opportunity.”
The Los Blancos confirmed the signing of the youngster last month and the attacking midfielder revealed that his friends call him every now and then to check on him. The new signing snubbed his former club and pinpointed Real Madrid as the best club in the world.
“My friends often called me since the signing was announced. There is a big passion for Real Madrid in Japan. And I’m very proud to be able to play for the best club in the world.”
