TheSportsRush brings Real Madrid team news vs Alaves, as the ‘Los Blancos’ attempt to bring their season back on track in La Liga this weekend.
Real Madrid have had a poor start to their new season under Julen Lopetegui. After losing the Super Cup tie to city rivals Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid’s poor run in the La Liga continues. Even when they’re second, Real Madrid have only scored 14 points from their seven matches in the league.
More importantly, Lopetegui’s side haven’t scored a goal since their last three matches in all competitions. The last time it happened was in 2005/06.
Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Keylor Navas admitted after a stunning defeat against CSKA Moscow that the side is missing Cristiano Ronaldo. He stated that it is not possible for a finger to hide the sun, and that the void of Ronaldo is turning out to be too huge to fill.
Ronaldo ended as Real Madrid’s highest goal-scorer in its history, before departing for Juventus.

As Real Madrid take on Deportivo Alaves in the La Liga this weekend, their aim would be to secure three points and end a dismal goalless run. But Lopetegui’s side suffer injury crisis, with key first-team starters forced to spend time on the sidelines.
Real Madrid team news vs Alaves
Isco has been out for Real Madrid for a while with Appendicitis, and is recovering from the injury. The Spanish midfielder will remain out of action for 2-3 weeks.
Injury of Dani Carvajal has been confirmed by the official website.
The website says, “After the tests carried out on our player Dani Carvajal by the Real Madrid Sanitas medical services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury to the soleus of his left leg.“— Sunny 💡 (@Its_SuNnYzzZ_77) October 4, 2018
Marcelo is expected to return after the end of the international break, as he recovers from a muscle injury.
However, the latest to add to the Spanish club’s injury crisis is right-back Dani Carvajal. The Spanish defender has been one of the key players in the Real Madrid defence so far. COPE reports that Carvajal’s calf injury can be more serious than expected and he could be out for 6-8 weeks.

Real Madrid will look to end their poor run in form when they travel to Alaves on Saturday. They may have been benefitted from a slump in form for arch-rivals Barcelona, but the Messi-led side will be high on spirits after their win at Wembley against Tottenham.
