Robert Lewandowski scored Bayern Munich’s first goal since the resumption of the Bundesliga with a penalty in the 40th minute. In the process, he became the first player since Ronaldo and Messi to score 40+ goals in 5 consecutive seasons in the 21st century.

He already has 40 goals this season with a good chunk of games still to be played. The achievement is made all the better when you consider that he’s past 30 already. Instead of slowing down, the Polish has averaged more than a goal per game for the first time in his career.

The striker will indeed go down as one of the best to have ever kicked a football. If it was not known already, this season has been a testimony to how great of a goal scorer the Bayern Munich striker is.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
