Roman Reigns: The Big Dog’s opponent for WWE Stomping Grounds revealed

Roman Reigns: The Big Dog’s opponent for WWE Stomping Grounds revealed. The reveal came in the Canadian Broadcast of Monday night Raw this week.

Roman Reigns is currently in a feud with Shane McMahon. The Self Proclaimed Best in the World has been a thorn in the side of The Big Dog ever since he made a move to the Blue Brand. The two are set to face each other at WWE Super ShowDown on June 7th next month.

However, according to reports, creative may have already planned who Roman’s next feud will be once his rivalry with Shane McMahon culminates.

John Pollock of POST Wrestling, has reported that Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton is currently being advertised for the WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view (PPV) on June 23. The advertisement ran during this week’s Canadian broadcast of WWE Raw on Sportsnet 360.

However,

The Tacoma Dome arena website is advertising Roman Reigns Vs Drew McIntyre for the Pay Per View. Of the two, McIntyre looks like a more possible candidate. Not only because the Arena itself has advertised the match; but also because McIntyre is also part of the Shane Vs Roman Storyline. Him being inserted into a match with the Big Dog, for a Wrestlemania rematch, is therefore the likelier of the two. The Card is obviously subject to change and Roman could end up facing neither of the Two.

WWE replaced the previously scheduled Backlash pay-per-view event that was supposed to take place on June 16th with this show. The schedule was changed due to the Saudi Arabia show being moved from early May to June 7th.

Tickets start at $25 and are on sale now at the Heritage Bank Box Office at the Tacoma Dome and ticketmaster.com. The Pay per View will also stream live on the WWE Network.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
