Ronaldo’s goals this year: Cristiano Ronaldo ends the year as Real Madrid’s top goalscorer across all competitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid in the summer transfer window in a stunning move to Italian side Juventus.
The Portuguese forward has been the star performer for Real Madrid ever since joining the club in 2009 from Manchester United.
Real Madrid lifted the Champions League in Ronaldo’s final game in Real Madrid shirt. He ended up as the top goalscorer in Real Madrid’s Champions League campaign.
As another year ends, it turns out that Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the Spanish side in June, is the top goalscorer for the club this year!
Ronaldo’s goals this year:
Cristiano Ronaldo scored 28 goals for Real Madrid this year (until the summer), which made him the top goalscorer for the Spanish giants.
Gareth Bale is one short of Ronaldo, with 27 goals in this calendar year for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid failed to replace Ronaldo in the summer transfer window, and had a disappointing start to their season. The club underwent their worst goalless run in history, and Real Madrid parted ways with Julen Lopetegui, who replaced Zinedine Zidane.

However, the side’s performances improved after Santiago Solari’s appointment. Real Madrid lifted the Club World Cup earlier this month, thus ending the year on a high.
Real Madrid’s issues with goalscoring continue to persist, however, as Gareth Bale has had consistent injury issues, while Benzema has struggled with form.

Since joining the Bianconeri, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 15 goals across all competitions for the side. He’s currently the top goalscorer in the Serie A, and broke the record for fastest to 10 goals for Juventus across all competitions in club’s history.
It is worthy of noting that Ronaldo is not just playing as a proper goalscorer at Juventus, but continues to be among the goals in Turin.
