Rose Lavelle goal Vs Netherlands: Watch Lavelle score against Dutch to secure the World Cup title

Rose Lavelle goal Vs Netherlands: Watch Lavelle score against Dutch national team to secure the World Cup title after making it 2-0.

USA met Netherlands in the climax of the tournament, with both the sides having a glorious run in the tournament. However, once again the World Cup title is going to USA as Netherlands fell short to the defending champions.

The match started with much excitement, as both the sides showed much vitality in the game. The match was in a deadlock until Megan Rapinoe scored a penalty to gain a lead.

Further, USA started dominated the game after finding a leak in the Dutch defense. Later, USA find gaps in Netherlands game-play, as the latter were trying to equalize.

Thus, the defending champions made a counter attack, as Samantha Mewis passed the ball to Rose Lavelle near the centre circle, then Lavelle collected the ball and dribbled magnificently through Netherlands’ midfield, set up a left footed shot, and hammered it into the bottom right corner of the goal.

Surely, it was a strike to remember from the USA International, as she confirmed another World Cup title for the Women’s team, and living up to the hype of the game.

With match entering into the dying minutes of the game, Netherlands have no scope of making a come back. It would not be wrong to say that it took one goal for USA to crush the Dutch.
