RR vs MI 2019

RR vs MI 2019: The Sportsrush presents before you three intriguing player battles ahead of the 36th match of IPL 2019.

The Western derby is upon us and Rajasthan Royals would need to make it 2 wins out of 2 against the Mumbai Indians if they want to have a realistic chance of making it to the playoffs. They need to be positive and have a strong will to achieve the improbable.

Mumbai Indians will want to continue their good form in the IPL with an impact-generating performance and also avenge their defeat at the hands of Rajasthan Royals a week ago. Mumbai look strong and the form of the bowlers will hold the key.

Here are some of the player battles that we can get excited about:

Jos Buttler vs Rahul Chahar

Chahar has been extremely impressive and economical at the same time. The pitch at Jaipur is sure to help the spinners and Rahul would need to use his skills to dismiss the dangerous Jos Buttler upfront. Buttler is the one who took the game away from MI last time and has looked to be explosive throughout this tournament. They would like to change that by attacking him with the leg-spinner.

Stuart Binny vs Jasprit Bumrah

Binny looked extremely good in the previous match where he single-handedly smashed the death bowlers out of the park. He was brutal and had really worked on his finishing abilities.

However, against the Mumbai Indians, he will be facing the deadly Jasprit Bumrah who is considered to be the master of the death overs. Whether Bumrah can contain Binny or Binny pulls off another great finish, it will surely be exciting to watch.

Jofra Archer vs Hardik Pandya

Archer has been an incredible asset to the Royals and has contributed significantly at the death. Hardik, on the other hand, has made played the role of a dangerous finisher and has managed to win Mumbai a few games purely by his batting. It will be interesting to see who wins this battle and subsequently, wins their team the match as well.
