Kidambi Srikanth created history this morning by winning the Australian Super Series, becoming only the 5th man in the history of the sport to win two back to back Super Series Titles. Srikanth romped to a straight set victory against the reigning Olympic Champion, Chen Long, bringing his superior net play to the fore and bamboozling Chen Long, left, right and centre.
The entire nation rejoiced with Srikanth today, taking to Twitter to shower their love on Srikanth, and Tendulkar was one of them.

Amongst the number of congratulatory messages that Srikanth received, he made it a point to specifically reply to this one, saying that Tendulkar’s wishes were like ‘a million wishes for him’.
Srikant said “Thank you sir. Your tweet is like a billion wishes for me. Will keep giving my best for the country”

Kidambi Srikanth has been enjoying his best time in the world circuit and would be hoping to improve his BWF ranking of 11. This new breed of male players are taking Indian badminton the next level and hopefully they can continue this rich vein of form.
