Kyedae Diagnosed with Leukemia; Valorant Twitter Wishes her a Swift Recovery
Hi everyone,
I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer). I’ll be starting up treatment very soon. With that being said I’m not too sure how my body will react to the treatment so I do apologize in advance if my stream schedule isn’t consistent! Stay safe <3— kyedae 🇯🇵🐸 (@kyedae) March 3, 2023
Her recent public appearance was in VCT LOCK IN as she was seen supporting SEN TenZ against their match with Fnatic. We assume she directly went into therapy afterward. In this unfortunate turn of events, she announced that the streaming will take a hint due to the treatment. A lot of people came out in support, wishing her a recovery. Among them, the most prominent were C9 Valorant and more organizations.
Sending lots of positive energy to you, Kyedae. Stay strong! 💙

We saw a lot of other people who are well-known in the media world make statements and wish her well for her treatment. It is safe to say that she needs the best wishes. It might seem leukemia is a lethal disease but the remission rate and recovery for the disease if detected early, is straightforward. If everything goes well, she will be back better and stronger in no time. With that being said, The SportsRush team wishes Kyedae well in the treatment.
