Shaquille O'Neal Raises Youngest Son Shaqir O'Neal's $1.1 Million NIL Valuation After 14 Point Performance

In a recent episode from The Big Podcast, Shaquille O’Neal and Spice Adams talked about their kids. Shaq even disclosed that his son Shaqir O’Neal played so well, he offered him a NIL deal.

Shaquille is not one to shy away from the public eye. He has been constantly in the spotlight and for some reason, he does not want to stay away. And unlike some characters that are marred in controversy, Shaq is the inverse.

He wants to be wholesome, support, and help out communities, and even his own family. It is no secret that his children have aspired to play in the NBA.

His eldest Shareef is pursuing that goal ardently. He has been playing for the Ignite G-League team and is on the verge of making it to an NBA roster. Hopefully, he makes it sooner than later.

His younger brother and Shaq’s youngest, Shaqir O’Neal is also on the same warpath.

Shaquille O’Neal is the doting father to Shaqir and is even helping increase his NIL valuation

The Lakers legend is never one to shy away from the accomplishments of his children. He once took his documentary crew to his eldest daughter, Taahirah O’Neal’s graduation ceremony.

So, when young Shaqir was playing well for TSU, Texas Southern University, he was ecstatic. He attended a game as per his own account, and Shaqir O’Neal’s performance was enough to increase his NIL valuation.

For the uninitiated, NIL stands for the Name, Image, and Likeness of a player. When stripped down, we are talking about the face value of the athlete. This valuation is independent of entities like the NCAA and helps young athletes protect their image and grow it.

Shaqir O’Neal’s valuation was approximately $1.1 million. And after a 14-point performance, his father decided to increase him by giving him an offer. While we don’t know the exact nature of the deal, Shaq confirmed it on his podcast.

Shaq and Spice Adams talk about their kids and upbringing!

In the same segment, Shaq and Spice Adams talked about Spice’s son who is wrestling at the varsity level! Yes, Spice Adams’ son who is only in the 8th grade is wrestling against 18 years old weighing a stunning 220 lbs.

The parents talk about what it is like to see their kids grow up and find themselves in spots they previously were in.

Being the sport that Shaq is, he offers to give Spice’s son in “Uncle Shaq Incentive”, a bonus of $500 every time Spice’s son beats an 18-year-old. Now that’s some prize and we think Spice will appreciate it.

As for Shaq, he is back again with his generosity. His son will also appreciate it, although we are yet to discern the latest figures for his NIL. Safe to say, it will definitely be more than $1.1 million.
