SRH Predicted 11 vs MI: The Sportsrush presents before you SRH Predicted Playing 11 for their 13th match of IPL 2019 vs MI.

As we navigate ourselves through the final week of the group stage in the Indian Premier League, we have third and fourth place taking on each other. Come tomorrow, Mumbai Indians will see the comfort of the Wankhede Stadium when they take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

For the Sunrisers, this encounter couldn’t get any more important. Perhaps, one of their most crucial encounter of the season, this clash can not only help them put bed to all doubts of a top 4 finish but also propel them straight to third place.

Having the best net run-rate out of all the sides partaking in the tournament, the two points would do a massive favour in seeing the SRH stay rest assured of a knock-out phase spot.

It won’t be a straightforward encounter for them by any stretch of the imagination though. Having earlier lost out on Jonny Bairstow, the side is now left without the services of David Warner, perhaps their most important player in the batting order this season.

Sunrisers’ batting order no longer looks invincible and apart from Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey, it’s tough to determine where the runs will come in for the side. With this contentious issue playing on their heads, SRH will be looking to rope in a bunch of players who can best serve the side on the night.

SRH Predicted 11 vs MI

SRH Top-order

The loss of Warner means opener Martin Guptill could finally get a chance this season. When he gets going, he is known to play the big innings but with hardly next to any playing time this year, it’ll be an interesting proposition to see how he performs.

He’ll be accompanied by Wriddhiman with the inform Manish Pandey following in at number 3. The top 3 will be of quissential importance to the side’s quest of raking up the runs of what is undoubtedly one of the finest batting tracks across the country.

SRH Middle-order

It’s this part of the SRH XI which has fared them the worst this edition of the riveting tournament but come their clash against the Indians the story promises to be different for once.

What will enable SRH to breathe a sigh of relief is that Willamson at number 4 is a player who can lay the foundation of a massive total for his season, one the rest of the players can revolve around.

Following up the ever reliable captain will be Vijay Shankar in number 5 before Nabi and Deepak complete the lower middle-order. It’s an order than sparks confidence, one that bats deep and possesses ample quality in it to take on Mumbai’s wordclass bowling unit.

SRH Bowlers

The only department to see no changes to it, the pace battery will be spearheaded by the mercurial Bhuvneshwar Kumar. He’s not had the best of seasons, having faltered more often than expected from him and he’ll need to be right on the money come Thursday.

Sandeep Sharma and Khaleel Ahmed will complete the pace battery while Rashid Khan and Nabi will make up the spin department.

What Williamson could look at is the option of Shankar a sixth bowler option. He has been under utilized this season and could be a viable option to fill in the middle overs and add something different to SRH’s 5 prolonged bowling attack.
