Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan 2019 schedule: When and where will matches be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka?

Sri Lanka tour of Pakistan 2019 schedule: The Sportrush present before you the full schedule for the upcoming intriguing cricket tour.

International cricket will return to Pakistan after 18 months when Sri Lanka and Pakistan will play the first of the three-match ODI series on September 27 this year.

The development has come as a relishing one for Pakistan, a country which has been devoid of international cricket being played at home since 2008. While Karachi will host the three ODIs, Lahore will be hosting the three T20Is to be played on October 5, 7 and 9 respectively. The Test matches on the tour are expected to happen to happen later this year.

It is worth mentioning that Sri Lanka were the last team which toured Pakistan last time in T20Is. While that was just for the last of three-match T20I series (without their senior players), the upcoming tour will see players playing three ODIs and T20Is each. The three 50-overs matches will be played between on September 27, September 29 and October 2.

“The PCB is pleased with the outcome of its discussions with Sri Lanka Cricket, which has supported Pakistan in its efforts and endeavours for the complete revival of integam international cricket.

“The tour for limited-overs matches will also provide Sri Lanka with an even better understanding of the ground situation before discussing the schedule of the Tests,” PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) chairman Ehsan was quoted as saying at the press conference.
