NZ vs IND Dream11 Prediction : New Zealand Vs India Best Dream 11 Team for Second ODI Match

Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Dream11 Fantasy Team: Best Dream11 Picks for today’s Sri Lanka vs New Zealand | TSR helps you with Dream 11 for CWC 2019.

New Zealand and Sri Lanka will play the third match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Cardiff tomorrow. Both teams losing their last warm-up match calls for an interesting day clash between the Kiwis and the island nation.

Talking about both teams’ recent form in ODIs, New Zealand whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 at home before arriving in England. On the contrary, Sri Lanka won their last series (1-0) against Scotland.

In addition to our previous piece on SL vs NZ Dream11 Prediction, here is a piece on three players who are a must in your Dream11 Fantasy teams. Having selected only three players, I have kept other options open for you. Doing the same will also not put pressure on any one department regarding buying 11 players in a certain budget.

Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Dream11 Fantasy Team – Best Picks

Kane Williamson (10 credits)

It would be a gigantic howler to ignore someone as reliable as Kane Williamson in the ODI format. The first thing which I would suggest you to do is select Williamson over anyone else in your Dream11 fantasy squad for this match. Having scored half-centuries in both the warm-up matches, Williamson has given enough hints of being in rich form ahead of the World Cup.

Lasith Malinga (9 credits)

Taking part in his fourth ICC Cricket World Cup, Sri Lanka fast bowler Lasith Malinga should be another automatic choice in your Dream11 fantasy squad. Malinga, 35, has been there and done that when it comes to not just handling the pressure situation but thriving on them as well.

It was in September last year that Malinga played an ODI after a year. Since then, he has dismissed 21 batsmen in 14 matches at an average of 30.66, an economy rate of 5.69 and a strike rate of 32.2 including a five-wicket haul.

The veteran cricketer will play a crucial role with respect to restricting batsmen of the likes of Martin Guptill, Ross Taylor and James Neesham. With him set to bowl in the death overs, expect him to yield you profit during the match.

Ross Taylor (10 credits) / Trent Boult (9 credits)

My third pick will depend on whether New Zealand will bat or bowl first. If they bat first, don’t be afraid to include Ross Taylor in your Dream11 fantasy squad. Having said that, if they are chasing, pick Trent Boult in your squad. You can pick both the Kiwi players if your budget permits.

In the last one year, Taylor has amassed 759 runs in 14 matches at an average of 84.33 and a strike rate of 88.56 including one century and six half-centuries. When it comes to batting in the first innings in the same time period, the veteran batsman has scored 633 runs in eight matches at an average of 90.42 and a strike rate of 86.23. It is worth mentioning that all of his six 50+ scores in the last 12 months have come in the first innings.

New Zealand’s left-arm fast bowler in Boult has picked up 25 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 25.04, an economy rate of 5.04 and a strike rate of 29.9 in the last year. The numbers become better when it comes to bowling in the first innings – 15 wickets in six matches at an average of 19.33, an economy rate of 4.86 and a strike rate of 23.8.

Therefore, keep track of the toss and select your team accordingly.
