Sterling to Real Madrid: Madrid representatives to scout Sterling during England vs Spain

Sterling to Real Madrid could become a possibility with Madrid scouts to set to track the player during the England vs Spain game.

Real Madrid are going all way around to get new attacking options onboard, the most recent one being Raheem Sterling.

In a recent tweet, Sky Sports News have mentioned about the Spanish giants’ renewed interests in the Manchester City forward. But the turning point here is that there have been no talks of him coming at the Bernabeu anytime soon. Rather the Real Madrid representatives are to see him play in the England colours against Spain at the Wembley Stadium on 8th September, almost a week after the transfer window expires.

The Los Blancos had earlier this summer considered Sterling before he went to Russia for the World Cup.

The story post World Cup has been altogether different at the Santiago Bernanbeu with their talismanic winger having left for Juventus.

With no clear cut reliable options up front as of this moment, bringing in Raheem Sterling from the Etihad would be at top of Madrid’s bucket list if not before the next three day then probably before the end of this season.

The English striker though had a quiet World Cup this summer, but his resurgence under Pep Guordiola has been a treat to watch. He scored a total of 18 goals last season that guided Manchester City to the title.

Real Madrid haven’t made a quality outfield signing for quite some time now, and with Mbappe and Neymar looking more and more unlikely to come to the Bernbeu, Sterling could be their only option. Sterling’s age and form could work in his favour, but do you see the Manchester City star leaving the Pep Guardiola project and moving to Madrid.
