Steven Gerrard’s cousin and current academy youngster Bobby Duncan brutally trolls Chelsea after the game.

Liverpool fans were reminded of the infamous slip by Steven Gerrard which cost Liverpool the first league title in 24 years. Besides, Chelsea twitter handle decided to post the video of that incident which infuriated the Reds faithful as they felt it was ‘out of respect’ for a footballing idol.

Steven Gerrard’s cousin, who moved to Liverpool set up from Manchester City academy last summer has brutally trolled Chelsea following their defeat at Anfield in the Premier League. Bobby Duncan could not resist a dig and captioned that tweet by quoting ‘Safe trip back to London’ which went viral.

Despite being reminded about that heartbreaking incident, Jurgen Klopp made sure that the same bad fortune did not return to Anfield on this day by overcoming Maurizio Sarri’s side 2-0 and climb to the first spot again. The Reds looked flat in the first half, but played their heart out and deservingly won the game, thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

A very well rounded finish from Sadio Mane gave the lead for Liverpool in the 51st minute and the lead extended when Mohamed Salah scored an unbelievable goal from outside the box to give a two-goal cushion for the hosts. Eden Hazard had two chances within quick succession, but the in-form Belgian was not able to make it count.

Jurgen Klopp substituted Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner in to slow down the pace of the game and kill the tempo to see out the game. It was an extraordinary turnaround in the second half after struggling to break down the resilient defence of Chelsea in the first half.
