SUS vs HAM Dream11 Team: The two sides return to take on each other after seeing rain intervene to end their previous fixture with a no result r

We are back for the return encounter of this fixture with Sussex Sharks and Hampshire squaring off against each other in the matter of a week once again. Unfortunate to have seen their previous match being truncated owing to incessant rainfall, both these sides will be turning to clearer skies today as they look to finally get cricket between the two sides underway.

While Sussex Sharks have not had a match scheduled in the Vitality Blast ever since, Hampshire took on Kent Spitfires in that period, a match where they ended up floundering. Batting first, Hampshire were massively let down by a horrid batting display, with the side losing wickets at regular intervals to put on a paltry 145 on the scoreboard, one which never looked to be enough for their bowlers to defend.

However despite that contentious batting display, what was extremely impressive to see was the immense fighting spirit the side showcased as their bowlers threw the kitchen sink and more at the Spitfires. In what was an extremely resilient and resolute bowling performance, Hampshire managed to take their opponents all the way down to the culminating over before Kent just about managed to scramble together a 2 wicket win.

Facing off against each other today, the mission for either side would be to finally get the coveted two points infront of their name. Expect this to be a competitive encounter, one which will be a battle between Hampshire’s bowling unit and Sussex’s batting heavy line-up, one filled with immense nous.

Sussex Sharks vs Hampshire Match Prediction

Little separates both these outfits as far as the patrons of the game opted for by both the teams go and it’s this narrative which promises this fixture to be an edge of the seat thriller. What tilts the balance ever the so slightly in Sussex’s favour is the innate ability of their batsmen to come and hit the ball to the fence, something Hampshire lacked in their previous match.

Paired with a strong spinning department, we see Sussex making this treacherous for Hampshire’s whose travails to get a win today should be unsuccessful once again.

Wicket-Keepers for SUS vs HAM Dream11

With Alex Carey’s participation still undecided on and Lewis coming to down the order, we are going ahead with Sussex’s Ben Brown for this one.

Batsman for SUS vs HAM Dream11

Hampshire’s captain and the ever reliable number 3 bat, James Vince is our first pick from this one. He’s regaled us in his soirees in the domestic arena recently, emerging as one of the most flawless batsmen across the last year and we followed it up with a half-century in his first match for Hampshire in 2019.

With a neat little 35 as he went onto provide the perfect support to his captain, Sam Northeast comes in from Hampshire as well while we have only opted for opener Luke Wright from Sussex.

All-Rounders for SUS vs HAM Dream11

Time for us to compensate for the batting picks from Sussex Sharks in this department and we have number three bat Delray Rawlins and David Weise come in for us. Both play pivotal roles in their side, players who perfectly encapsulate their skill set as batsmen and bowlers given their affinity for the game.

From Hampshire we are going ahead with a two man partnership in the form of Liam Dawson and Chris Moriss. Their three wickets in between them came at crucial junctures in the encounter, offering the side a perusal of options to turn to in the bowling department.

Bowling Order for SUS vs HAM Dream11

Spinner Rashid Khan and Ollie Robinson are our picks from Sussex given the massive stature these two accord to due to the massive versatility they have imbued in their artillery. Coming in from Hampshire is Kyle Abbot after his 3-22 spell against Kent in the last encounter.

Captain And Vice-Captain

We have selected David to captain our playing 11 today while James is the vice-captain.

Dream 11 Advice

With teams partaking in the tournament in a hectic and congested schedule, one which sees several countries play on consecutive days, there is a likelihood of sides changing their playing 11’s for every match. Our side is picked based on the best performers for each side with us picking up players based on their pivotal role and importance to the team paired with their recent performances, pitch conditions and roles in the side.
