The Cronen Squall was the best weapon to use in Warzone 2 before the nerfs took it roughly out of the meta. However, that does not mean it is not useable. With this Cronen Squall loadout in Warzone 2, you won’t even feel the difference.
The May 31st patch hit two weapons roughly; the ISO Hemlock and the Cronen Squall. However, it did not do lethal blows to them and they are still viable with the right attachments. Warzone 2 Content Creators analyzed these weapons and compared them to other weapons in the meta to see if they still work.
The good news is that they do. However, players will still need to be a little lenient in terms of maintaining a good loadout otherwise it will be a problem. EyeQew recently made a post nerf loadout for the Cronen Squall which everyone should try in Warzone 2. Let us take a look.

Cronen Squall Loadout after Nerf: Is it Still Viable?
The Cronen Squall was one of the best weapons to use in the game before it got nerfed. In the nerfs, it received a reduction in damage range, headshot multiplier, and increase in recoil, among other things. Now, content creators are finding other weapons to replace it.
Although it received multiple nerfs, it is still a very viable gun if one puts the right attachments on it. However, it will not go just with any attachments. It should have the ones that negate all the nerfs and restore it back to its former glory. That is why, we will use the attachments below.
Attachments
- Optic: SZ Recharge-DX
- Magazine: 50-Round Drum
- Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
- Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
- Barrel: HR 6.8 Barrel
The first attachment is any Optic you want which lets you see clearly down the sites. In this case, we will go with the SZ Recharge-DX. Complement that with the 50-Round Drum, it will ensure that you can keep shooting your enemies no matter the range and rarely have to reload.
The FTAC Ripper 56 is a standard for any Weapon build since it gives it stability and mobility. The Sakin Tread-30 muzzle is important to control the horizontal and vertical recoil after the nerfs made the gun harder to control.
The last attachment is HR 6.8 Barrel. It increases the bullet velocity, damage range, recoil control, and hip-fire accuracy of the weapon and gives everything that was taken away from the weapon back to it.
Why Should You Use this Loadout?
This loadout fixes every problem that the weapon was presented within the patch notes. It negates the decrease in damage range and fixes the recoil by installing the muzzle and the FTAC Ripper. In addition, it also adds an extended magazine so you can keep shooting.
Try this loadout out with your favorite sub-machine gun or use it as a Sniper support. Make sure to rock equipment that will help you out. We recommend a smoke grenade and some throwing knives. That is all for the Cronen Squall loadout after the nerf.
