Everything You Need to Know about the Newest ISO 45 SMG in Warzone 2.0

Season 4 gave us the ISO 45 SMG along with the Vondel map. Now this combination, if utilized properly can be brutal since Vondel is a Resurgence map and comparatively smaller than Al Mazrah. The SMG is really strong and has a good fire rate.

It is best used in close to medium ranges but you can pair it up with a proper Long Range weapon to complete the class loadout. Just like every weapon loadout, this one has to have good attachments to give the gun the chance of holding up with the other meta weapons. But first, let us see how you can unlock this weapon.

Players can unlock the gun through this Season’s Battle Pass. First, you have to get through to the D4 Sector of the BP. However, you can also extract it from DMZ so be on the lookout for the weapon when playing that mode.

In addition, the weapon is free for all players to obtain in the BP so there is no rush to acquire it. There is plenty of time for players to unlock it and see how it compares to other weapons. That being said, if you have CP lying around, you can always speed up the progress to reach D4.

Best Attachments to Use

Once you acquire the weapon, you will need attachments to better the weapon and set it apart from other SMGs in the game. These are the best attachments we think you should run for the weapon.

  • Rear Grip: A30 Stout Rear Grip
  • Magazine: 45-Round Drum
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Barrel: 16” XLB-S
  • Laser: VLK LZR 7MW

The A30 Stout Rear Grip is solely to manage one thing only, the recoil of the gun. That is why, we will equip this attachment to ensure that we can hit our shorts on target and track our enemies even when they are moving. Plus, you will have to hit your shots as the range keeps increasing. But as long as you use this weapon in smaller maps like Ashika Island and Vondel, you will be good.

The next attachment is going to be the 45-Round Drum because SMGs eat ammo like crazy. To ensure that you do not run out of ammo in the middle of a gunfight, we will put on a 45-Round Drum. This also gives you a contingency plan just in case you encounter too many enemies at once. The FSS Sharkfin 90 underbarrel is going to be useful to maintain a stable aim.

The underbarrel attachment increases the stats for the aiming idle stability. It will maintain your accuracy while aiming down the site. The 16” XLB-S is a Barrel that offers not only sound suppression but also increased bullet velocity, damage range, and some recoil control.

For the last attachment, we will use the VLK LZR 7MW laser. It rounds out all the stats by increasing the ADS speed, aiming stability, and sprint-to-fire speed. Now, all of these are going to be important if you are having lots of close-range gunfights. You have to be the first person to pull your gun up after sprinting, this is what this laser is for.

Best Equipment and Perks to Use

  • Perk 1: Overkill
  • Perk 2: Double Time
  • Perk 3: Fast Hands
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade/ Flashbang
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade/ Throwing Knife

The first perk we will use is Overkill. With it, you can carry another Primary weapon. We recommend going with a Sniper Rifle or a reliable AR that can shoot long-range without any repercussions. Pair that up with Fast Hands and Double Time. Double Time ensures you can run faster and be quick on your feet.

Fast Hands is essential if you are running two primary weapons because you will need to switch to your other weapon in case you get caught off-guard in a situation. The Smoke Grenade and Flashbang depend on your playstyle. If you want to play in a lurky or stealthy way, go with the Smokes.

However, if you want to play aggressively, go with the Flashbang. Now, if you are an infiltrator, go with the Frag Grenade. But if you want to quickly finish off opponents once they are down, go with the Throwing Knife.

Why You Should Use This Loadout

This loadout has everything you need to be stealthy or aggressive. The attachments promote the gun’s strengths and the perks give you everything you need to be precise in your shots. In addition, you have the ideal equipment to either push enemies or get away from them depending on your preference.

The people who are experienced in taking fights should prioritize taking advantage of the SMG and its quickness. Your long-range weapon should take a backseat unless you are having long-range engagements.

That is all you need to know about this loadout breakdown in the game. If you like this Warzone 2.0 breakdown, perhaps you’d like some of our others? Click here to check them out.
