The Undertaker: Real reason why The Deadman returned to Raw and his future plans in the WWE in the coming months revealed.
The Undertaker made a surprising return to the WWE on this week’s episode of Raw. He came to Roman Reign’s rescue and laid out Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. While, random, the appearance could be attributed to the Phenom’s history with the Big Dog. After all, it was Roman Reigns who beat him at Wrestlemania 33 and left the stage for Undertaker to soak in the adulation (remember when we all thought that was his retirement match?).

The 4 are set to partake in a tag team match at Extreme Rules next month. However, Sports illustrated have reported that the tag team match won’t be the last we see of The Undertaker. The Undertaker had reportedly chosen Drew McIntyre as one of the men he would like to share the ring with. Their tag match at Extreme Rules could set up a clash between the Dead Man and The Scottish Psychopath. With SummerSlam following Extreme Rules, Shane Vs Roman and Undertaker Vs McIntyre could be two marquee matches for the biggest show of the summer.
Not so Super ShowDown
The Undertaker’s last match was against Goldberg in a matched marred with botches. A match against a younger and stronger McIntyre could lead to a better showing and hopefully help people forget the Super Showdown disaster. It would benefit both the stars if McIntyre prevails in a hard-fought entertaining match. It doesn’t have to be a 5 star outing, just engaging enough. McIntyre could take control of the ring work while The Undertaker coordinates with the younger star. This would shoot McIntyre to the moon with a rocket strapped to his back. While the Undertaker can retire in peace knowing that his last match wasn’t the calamity at Jeddah.
Extreme Rules will take place on July 14 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
