Thiem and Mladenovic open up about their relationship
Dominic Thiem and Kristina Mladenovic have gone public with their relationship, taking to Instagram to confirm their romantic involvement with each other.
In a recent interview in Sydney, Mladenovic spoke about her relationship with Thiem, saying that the duo got romantically involved in 2017.
“We understand each other perfectly, we know what the other is going through, we know the way the other one can feel,” Mladenovic said.
“Also on tour for traveling it also makes it easier because we have such a crazy busy schedule. So it’s always nice when you have your better half that can easily travel with you and also support you, see your match and understand what you’re doing.” she added.
Mladenovic is really excited about the relationship and feels that it is great that she now has a permanent practice partner, though the couple won’t be committing to the same tournaments over the course of this season.
“Even if we are together doesn’t mean we are all the time going to commit to the same tournaments because the other one is playing, of course,” Mladenovic said.
“It’s very nice, and given that he’s at the top of the game, for me, as the woman, it’s very interesting because I can still practice with him.” She added.
Rumours about the alleged relationship went rife during the ATP Tour Finals in London when Mladenovic was seen in Thiem’s camp during the event.
