Top 10 Most Valuable football Squads in Europe

#4) Liverpool (England) €1.07bn

Liverpool’s stock has risen by a whole lot in the last few seasons. Their continued success in recent times have exponentially increased their market value. The European champions have continued their success this season as they look to add the Premier League to their list of achievements.

Liverpool’s front 3 of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are valued at €150m, €120m and €80m respectively. Defensive stalwart Virgil Van Dijk has a value of €100m while Allison is at €80m. Dynamic fullbacks, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson have a value of €80m and €60m respectively.

Their value is a reflection of their massive contribution to Liverpool’s success. It is unlikely however, that Jurgen Klopp will want to part with any of them even if the fees are matched or surpassed.

#3) Barcelona (Spain) €1.18bn

The current Spanish Champions have the 3rd most valuable squad in the world. Barcelona have been on a signing spree for the last few seasons and have made quite a number of high-profile signings in their quest for a Champions League trophy.

This has taken their squad value to an astronomic 1.18bn. The highest valued members of the squad are captain Lionel Messi (€150m), keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegan (€90m), young prospects Ousmane Dembele (€100m) and Arthur (€70m) along with new recruits Antoine Griezmann (€130m) and Frenkie de Jong (€85m).

Despite their slow start, Barcelona now lead the La Liga table and have won their last two champions league matches. The Catalonian side will hope that the side that they have invested so much in the last few seasons, will clinch the treble this season.

This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all.
