Tottenham New Manager: Daniel Levy considering Jose Mourinho to replace Pochettino

Tottenham new Manager: Daniel Levy considers to deal with Jose Mourinho to replace outgoing manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked and the instant question that has arisen is who will replace Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur’s helm amidst the footballing season.

According to the reports by Fabrizio Romano, Daniel Levy is considering to bring Jose Mourinho to the North London club, the club chairman is yet to take a decision on it.

Meanwhile, Romano has further reported that Mourinho is open to discuss the terms with the Premier League. The Portuguese manager has not managed any club since leaving Manchester United during last winter.

It has been claimed that Mourinho is a serious possibility but nothing substantial regarding his appointment have been surfaced yet by the reports working near the club.

Tottenham Hotspurs’s chairman recently released a statement confirming the departure of Pochettino from the club, just after 5 months when he took the Lilywhites to the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Spurs had an underwhelming start to the season as the club was struggling on the 14th position in the Premier League table after the end of the 12 game-weeks all the clubs have played so far.

Pochettino joined the club in 2014 and brought back the North London club back to prominence after rebuilding the squad. The Argentine manager brought in several high rated talents into the first team which flourished- Harry Kane, Delle Alli and Harry Winks.
