SRH were for long labelled as a bowling heavy side, but today they have shown that their batting can come to their rescue on days when their bowling unit fails to deliver.

Rishabh Pant’s exuberant hundred had meant that the SRH bowling unit had been taken to the cleaners, something that doesn’t often happen.
Both Rashid Khan and Bhuvi had no answers to Pant’s clean striking and at the half way mark it seemed like DD had enough on the board to get over the line.
However, Dhawan and Williamson rose to the occasion to bail SRH out, stringing together a wonderful partnership to take SRH home.
Both Dhawan and Williamson never let the run-rate get out of hand as they kept rotating the strike and getting those important boundaries.
Twitter couldn’t believe that Pant’s efforts went in vain, as the DD bowling unit seemed spineless in the 2nd innings.
