Twitter reactions on Arsenal vs Man Utd: Arsenal beat Manchester United to go at fourth in the Premier League table.
Manchester United suffered their first league defeat under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the side faced a 2-0 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League.
The result was significant for the top-4 race in the league, as only a point separates Arsenal and the third-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United, meanwhile, fall to fifth position in the table.
Granit Xhaka scored the first goal of the game as David De Gea committed a howler, misjudging the long shot. Arsenal doubled the lead late in the second half as Aubameyang netted in the penalty.
Manchester United now face Wolves in the quarterfinal of the FA Cup.
Frustrating game. Solskjaer has repeatedly said football is about the fine margins. Today, our goalie made a mistake and the ref awarded a pen for a dive. At the other end, we’ve hit the woodwork twice and not been clinical enough with other great chances. Just one of those days.

Each of the last three Premier League goals David de Gea has conceded have come from shots outside of the box.
Beaten from distance again. pic.twitter.com/Pd9Jg7p5pK

Van der Sar was obviously a class keeper but he had spells where every shot from distance seemed to go in. De Gea seems to be having one of those

Another high profile De Gea mistake? Love to see it.

That ball swerved but why was De Gea trying to high five the lino

I knew we weren’t going to get a good result when Lukaku hit the bar and Fred hit the post. One of them games, unfortunately the away matches run under Ole has ended but it was always going to happen. Very soft goals to concede but we move on.

Manchester United have no given right to win every game. Solskjaer will lose games as manager. Players will have an off day.
That’s football. It happens.

Doubt Solskjaer will be too disheartened. Created enough chances to win the game, didn’t take any, and lost. First game since he took over that they haven’t been clinical.

When #MUFC appointed Solskjaer on December 19th I think they would have been more than happy that his first league defeat would not come until March 10th. This was a blip amid incredible progress.

That is the first time since February 25th 2016 that Unai Emery has defeated Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Solskjær managed Molde, Emery managed Sevilla and they met in the Europa League round of 32.
