India bagged a second gold in the Asian Games, and we bring you the twitter reactions to Vinesh Phogat’s gold medal.
After Bajrang Punia on Day 1, it was Vinesh Phogat’s turn to give India the highest podium finish at the Asian Games 2018. The Indian wrestling star won the gold medal in 50 kg category, beating Japan’s Yuki Irie in the final 6-2.
Phogat continued on her terrific form from Commonwealth Games in Australia, where she cruised to the gold medal in the same category.

The 23-year old Indian wrestler started the day with a win over Sun Yanan of China. The Chinese wrestler beat Phogat in the Rio Olympics in 2016, after she had to bow out owing to injury.
Phogat’s course to the final was relatively easy as she won both her quarterfinals and semifinals on technical superiority.
