Joe Rogan has been associated with the UFC for a long time. He has been part of the growing US MMA scene even before that but it was with the UFC that he found his true calling. Joe Rogan names who he thinks is the best UFC Commentator of all time
During episode 133 of the JRE MMA Show, Joe Rogan mentioned who he thought was the best UFC commentator. He used the recent stellar upset pulled off by Leon Edwards on Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title. In the match Usman was leading by 4 rounds before Edwards pulled off an out-of-the-blue head kick to win the championship.
Just before this climactic exchange Rogan’s fellow commentator Jon Anik mentioned that quitting is not “the cloth from which” Edwards was cut. To Rogan, this was an indication that Anik was the best commentator in the UFC.
“Jon Anik’s the best of all time. He’s the best,” Rogan said, “‘That is not the cloth from which he was cut.’ Bam, and then the knockout. It’s the perfect call. It’s the best call ever… Bro, that’s Shakespeare.
Since he joined in 2016, Anik has become a popular commentator and set himself apart from his peers with his analysis and mic presence.
