In the pictures, ‘The Notorious’ looks massive and has even admitted weighing over 260lbs in an Instagram live. Thus, many fans and UFC pundits believe McGregor might be using banned substances. One of them is the veteran UFC color commentator Joe Rogan.

What did Joe Rogan say about Conor McGregor?

Joe Rogan has had a history in the sport and is very much indulged in fitness. The 55-year-old keeps himself in shape by training regularly and has enough health and fitness knowledge.

Rogan also added that McGregor has done enough steroids during his recovery period that his urine might melt the USADA cup’ while testing. “The weird thing is that there is a loophole in USADA that allows you to get out of the testing pool,” Rogan said.

While explaining the loophole, Rogan stated, “It seems weird and you just need six months. If someone’s had an injury, though, that’s a very wise way to approach it, right?”

McGregor stated he will enter testing in February

The former champion has been inactive in the promotion for over a year after his injury in 2021. But now, McGregor has returned to training and has hinted at a return.

McGregor will have to enter the testing pool six months ahead of his return. Thus, he tweeted that he will enter the pool in the first quarter of 2023. Hence, fans can expect his comeback near the fourth quarter of the year.
