The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is surely one of the most fierce and dominant female fighters in history. However, it extended beyond the UFC cage. Even outside of the MMA cage, ‘Rowdy’ has a fearless demeanor.

Rousey is renowned for her forthright attitude and never hesitates to express her honest viewpoint. Even if the subject is highly controversial. When the current WWE superstar discussed NFL icon Tom Brady in an interview in 2015, this quality about her was quite apparent.
What did Ronda Rousey say about Tom Brady?
When Tom Brady was a player for the New England Patriots in 2015, he was in the news for all the wrong reasons. Brady was criticized for his role in the deflation of the football used in the game immediately following the New England Patriots’ victory over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game in January of the same year.

Later, the episode was referred to as “Deflategate.” Brady denied the charges, but he still received a four-match suspension. The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York eventually reversed it, though. However, the ban was later reinstated in 2016. Brady missed four games as a result of that season.
While speaking on the same topic in an interview, Rousey sounded very upset about Brady’s actions. She said, “Well, if you’re seeking the advantage you didn’t earn, then I think it’s cheating. So if he has an advantage with the grip of the balls, the other team doesn’t have, what did he do to earn that? He doesn’t deserve to have that advantage. I think that is cheating.”
In 2015 Rousey tasted her first-ever UFC defeat
The year 2015 wasn’t better for the former women’s UFC champion either. Before that, Rousey was undefeated in the promotion and looked invincible. She was on an amazing six-fight undefeated streak.
However, it ended soon in 2015. Rousey faced former boxing champion, Holly Holms in the main event of UFC 193. ‘Rowdy’ was a heavy favorite going into the fight. However, the former boxer turned the tables on Rousey quickly.
In the second round of the fight, Holms did the impossible and knocked out the fan-favorite fighter. Rousey unfortunately never returned to her old form and lost her next fight in 2016. Following the losses, she departed from the promotion. Nevertheless, ‘Rowdy’ has found immense success in her wrestling career in WWE.
