Khamzat Chimaev Andrew Tate

UFC star Khamzat Chimaev is one of the most highly touted fighters in the company as of now. He made his UFC debut in 2020 and since then has gone on to fight six times in the company, winning all six of his fights. Chimaev was last seen in action against Kevin Holland back at UFC 279 in September last year. Since then, there has been a lot of speculation about his next fight. While an opponent for his next fight is nowhere near confirmed at the moment, it looks like Khamzat Chimaev has a date set for his return.

‘Borz’ is potentially set to return to the octagon in October. Interestingly, he also wants a special guest to come to see him fight.

Chimaev recently had a video chat with the controversial social media influencer. He later posted the video on his social media. Fans have had a field day reacting to the same.

While many seem to like the idea of Andrew Tate attending a UFC event, others do not do so much. Take a look at some of the fan reactions below:

A fan didn’t like that UFC is inviting people with criminal charges on them. He mentioned the time when former president Donald Trump was invited. He wrote, “Are there special ringside seats for rapists? First Trump now Tate…”

One fan mocked Chimaev for inviting Tate. He wrote, “Another Borz L.”

Another fan seemed excited. He wrote, “The crowd will go crazy when they put Tate on the big screen during the event.”

One fan called Tate a nice guy. He wrote, “Tate genuinely seems like to be a nice guy, I don’t understand why he gets so much hate.”

It is worth noting that Andrew Tate is currently under house arrest and he will only be able to attend the UFC event in October if he is released by then.

Who is UFC star Khamzat Chimaev fighting next?

Despite making it pretty clear that he will be fighting at UFC’s Abu Dhabi card in October later this year, Khamzat Chimaev has failed to reveal his opponent as of yet.

‘Borz’ has seemingly called out the likes of Paulo Costa, Kamaru Usman, and more for a fight. But nothing seems certain at the moment.
However, rumors of a potential fight between Khamzat Chimaev and former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman are increasing by the day.

That said, it will be interesting to see if Chimaev and Usman end up fighting each other in what will be a highly anticipated fight or not later this year.

What are your thoughts on Khamzat Chimaev’s next fight? What do you guys think about Chimaev inviting Tate?
