Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan is known for his candid opinions on various topics. During one of his podcasts with comedian Nate Bargatze, Rogan shared his thoughts on actor Tom Cruise. Rogan found Cruise’s behavior in his infamous interview with Matt Lauer to be uncanny. Rogan is known for hosting noteworthy guests on his show, including Robert Downey Jr., Quentin Tarantino, and Elon Musk.
Apart from discussing celebrity behavior, Rogan has also been vocal about his stance on drug usage. He frequently invites pharmacists and doctors to discuss advancements in health science on his podcast. These conversations often lead to enlightening discussions on the potential benefits and drawbacks of drug usage.
In contrast to Joe Rogan’s open-mindedness about drugs, Tom Cruise has publicly stated his disapproval of using anti-depressants. Cruise is a strong believer in Scientology, which does not promote the use of anti-depressants. In several interviews, Cruise has spoken at length about his stance on drugs and how he prefers alternative methods of dealing with mental health issues.
Joe Rogan calls Tom Cruise ‘wacky’
Podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan recently expressed his admiration for the 2014 sci-fi movie Edge of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise. Rogan referred to the film as “bad-ass” and praised it for its compelling storyline. However, Rogan noted that the movie was released during a challenging period for Cruise’s public image.
He said, “2014 was just a few years removed from him being wacky. When he did that Matt Lauer interview on the Today’s Show.”
During the same podcast episode, Rogan also criticized Cruise’s behavior during a interview with Matt Lauer. Rogan described Cruise’s comments as “wacky” and suggested that Lauer did not handle the situation well.
It is not the first time Rogan has shared his opinions on Cruise’s behavior, as he has previously discussed the actor’s controversial public appearances on his podcast.
Rogan backs Tom Cruise
Joe Rogan expressed an unexpected agreement with Tom Cruise on the topic of drug abuse. Rogan acknowledged that drug usage and abuse are real problems in society, and he commended Cruise for his stance on the issue.
He said, “Meanwhile he is right about a lot of it. He is definitely right about Adderall and Ridalin, that some people abuse it.
“But abuse, just because someone abuses it doesn’t mean, it doesn’t have uses.” He further added.
Despite agreeing with Cruise on this point, Rogan also noted that drug abuse does not necessarily mean that the drugs did not work for those suffering from depression. He emphasized that people need to be educated about the potential benefits and drawbacks of drug usage, and that mental health issues should be taken seriously.
