Nate Diaz Loops in $20,000,000 Boxing Debut Against Jake Paul While Berating Conor McGregor: “I Never Get a…”

The former UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor had a great rivalry with Nate Diaz in the UFC. Although it seemed the rivalry would end after the ‘Stockton slapper’ left the UFC, it didn’t happen. The Irishman recently reignited the feud by trolling the former UFC welterweight for his knockdown in their fight on Twitter. While responding to the agitating Tweet, Diaz bashed McGregor for his setback in their first clash in 2016 and also for avoiding a trilogy fight. Interestingly, Diaz also ropped in his boxing debut against Jake Paul, which reportedly earned him over $20 million.

Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz delivered two classic fights to the fans in UFC. ‘The Notorious’ initially faced defeat in their first encounter against the ‘Stockton Slapper’ at UFC 196 succumbing to a second-round submission. Nevertheless, he redeemed himself with a majority decision victory in their rematch in August 2016 at UFC 202. This rivalry propelled Diaz towards stardom, which helped him fetch a $20 million boxing debut clash against YouTuber turned-boxer Jake Paul last month, which he ended up losing.

Nate Diaz ropes in $20 million boxing debuted to berate Conor McGregor

Last weekend the UFC Noche main event fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso ended in a draw. Judge Mike Bell scored the 5th round 10-8 in favor of Grasso, resulting in a widespread backlash from the MMA community and Dana White.

The Irishman seized this opportunity to target Diaz, contending that when he managed to knock Diaz down multiple times during their octagon battle, it should have been scored as 10-8 rounds. However, the former UFC welterweight clapped back in true Nate Diaz fashion. He wrote:

When I kill*d you off I should’ve never gave you a rematch I never get a rematch especially when I don’t really lose like n our 2nd fight or my last fight I just let u pu*sy run off into sunset like you won .. Live with it ur both pu*sys

The former UFC welterweight has accused both Paul and McGregor in his Tweet of ducking a fight with him. However, it doesn’t seem to be the case.

Diaz flirting with McGregor and Paul for a rematch

Both McGregor and Diaz were in talks to set up a trilogy fight for years with both fighters showing interest, but it never materialized for reasons unknown. Meanwhile, after losing against Paul in his boxing debut, the ‘Stockton Slapper’ was offered a $10 million rematch in MMA.

However, the former UFC welterweight for some reason doesn’t seem very keen on the offer and it remains to be seen whether they will do an MMA rematch or not.

Despite leaving UFC, some might say that Diaz has done quite well for himself. Evidently, he has a lot of options for his upcoming fight, including a trilogy fight with McGregor and an MMA showdown with Paul. However, it would be interesting to see which fight Diaz would go for next.
