Dana White is a well-known figure in the world of combat sports. After all, he is one of the driving forces behind the success of the world’s largest MMA promotion, UFC. As a result, the UFC president has amassed a lot of wealth. He is now worth $500 million and has invested in a number of other companies, including Power Slap.
Aside from investing, Dana White enjoys spending money on sneakers and gambling. Many people are aware of his penchant for gambling. It is also stated that the UFC president makes a lot of money at gambling, since he is quite adept at it.
However, it appears that White does not let his buddies lose money in gambling as well. Having said that, White once saved Nelk Boy’s Kyle Forgeard from a $40k loss as revealed by the latter himself.
Nelk Boys star Kyle Forgeard reveals the Dana White gambling story
Dana White and popular YouTuber Nelk Boys have a great friendship. They are frequently seen at major UFC events. The YouTubers are usually hosted by Dana White.
The UFC president often joins them and also appears on their YouTube channel. White went gambling with Kyle Forgeard at one such meet, as disclosed by the YouTuber on Full Send Podcast.
Forgeard said that he nearly lost $40,000. However, the UFC president noticed it and continued to play, winning $30k in chips. The Nelk Boys star went on to say that White gave him the same $30k chips to play and earn his money back. He said:
“When you with Dana, he just won’t let you lose,” said Foregard. “I got $50, 000. I was playing, you know, up and down…and then eventually I lost it. Dana buys in, plays-plays-plays, goes up, hands me $30,000 in chips. Just slides it over then says, ‘Alright, make a comeback.”
Furthermore, the Nelk Boys member said in the podcast that the UFC president made the exact identical move the next night. He stated that he experienced similar results with his play and ended up earning an enormous sum.
White once lost half -a million gambling
As previously stated, the UFC president is an enthusiastic gambler. He also admitted that he is barred from gambling in Las Vegas’ famed casinos. Dana White, on the other hand, is unmoved by it.
Similar to Kyle Forgeard, another Nelk Boys member, Steve, once disclosed an incident in which he gambled with the UFC president. Steve claimed to have won $15k, and White won $50,000, but the latter was already down $520,000.
Because White is a multi-millionaire, it is reasonable to assume that he was unaffected by the loss. Nevertheless, White thrives to expand UFC and his own venture the Power Slap League.
