Tony Ferguson hits out at Conor McGregor, called him coward, washed up, and claimed he doesn’t carry the grit to face a top contender.
Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson are two of the superior names in UFC let alone the Lightweight division. There’s no secret that both have been hovering under each other’s noses for quite some time now but, despite that they never came face to face inside the Octagon. However, if not in the ring, Twitter is one place where they often indulge in a back-and-forth. In lines with the same, on Sunday, November 15, El Cucuy has seemingly initiated another such quarrel.
On Saturday, right after the culmination of UFC Vegas 14, the winner of its main event Rafael dos Anjos called out Conor McGregor, and McGregor vehemently accepted the challenge as well, via Twitter. Dos Anjos though is a former Lightweight champion, but at this point in time does not feature in the Top 15 of the division. And it appears Tony has picked that up in order to hit out at Conor McGregor.
