Pedro Munhoz Demands Rematch Following a Split Call in Favor of Frankie Edgar at UFC Vegas 7

Pedro Munhoz demands rematch following a split call in favor of Frankie Edgar at UFC Vegas 7. Munhoz thinks Judges made an error in Judgement at the fight night.

Pedro Munhoz and Frankie Edgar locked horns this past week, where after 5 rounds of gripping action Frankie Edgar was adjudged as the winner. The popular comment regarding the fight is, it was a very close fight where only a margin would have separated the two. However, Pedro Munhoz thinks differently and took to social media to express his disappointment, and concludes he was robbed of a victory by the judges.

Pedro Munhoz Not Happy With The Judges’ Decision Demands a Rematch

Pedro Munhoz in his post fight conference stated that he thought he had done enough to get his hand raised. The 33-year-old now reflects the same on his Instagram account, where he has presented some stats, and criticised Judges over the call. The Brazilian has blatantly asked for a rematch and has tagged UFC president Dana White in the post.

Here’s what Munhoz wrote in the caption of the post, “I’ve always done my talking in the octagon but this needs to be said. I work too hard to get screwed by poor judges who have no training and even less accountability. Look at the stats and the damage. Look at the 17 of 20 media sites who agreed I won, 7 of which had it 49-46. Tell me how the deciding judge gave round 3 to Frankie. He’s a legend, but I won that fight and want a rematch now @danawhite”

Now the onus is on Dana White to respond. Meanwhile, what do you reckon, did the Judges really made a mistake?
