Max Holloway and Calvin Katter are booked to headline January 16 Fight night event.
On Tuesday, UFC announced the return of the former Featherweight champion Max Holloway. The Blessed one is set to mark his comeback in January against the No.6 in the 145-pound division Calvin Kattar.
Holloway, a fan favourite by a long stretch, hasn’t fought a non-title match since June 2016. While in the course he held the Featherweight strap for two years and also made a valiant attempt to grab the Interim Lightweight title, but in his last two bouts not only he has lost the title to Alexander Volkanovski, he also could not make the most his opportunity in the rematch as well.
Now, it could be perceived that he is determined to fight for the title again, thus, this fight against Calvin Kattar, might present a fresh start in the journey to attain the old belt.
