UFC Vegas 9 Card: Major Fights Got Canceled Just Hours Before the Start
UFC Vegas 9 witnessed major changes in the card just hours before the fight.
From the past few weeks it has become a norm that at the 11th hour the fight card gets modified due to one reason or another. However, it is Covid-19, which has done the bulk of the damage, and like last week, when a much anticipated rematch between Ion Cutelaba and Magomed Ankalaev got dampened by Corona particles, this week as well, a major change has been made to the main card just hours before the start, as the Lightweight Fight between Thiago Moises and Jalin Turner is off, following Moises’ positive Covid-19 test.

On similar grounds, the event was hit by another setback, as the Preliminary fight between Marcos Rogerio De Lima and Alexandr Romonov also got canceled, with De Lima becoming the host of virus in this case.

However, these were not the only changes in Vegas 9’s fight card, as earlier in the day, Kevin Natividad who was set to open the main card proceedings alongside Brian Kelleher, was taken off from the card as well, due to some undisclosed reasons. The fight will now take place without Natividad, since he is now replaced by Ray Rodriguez.
