“It was amazing to be in Arsenal”: Unai Emery Thanks Arsenal Supporters Despite Being Hounded Out Of The Club

Unai Emery Replacement: Gunners lineup former Arsenal player as the likely replacement of Unai Emery who has lost the job at Arsenal.

Unai Emery has lost the job at Arsenal with him failing to match the club’s demands and losing out of the favours of the fanbase, who wants him out of the club immediately.

With the Spaniard leaving in the middle of the season, Arsenal is lining up their options and Arsenal has rounded up ex-Arsenal player Freddie Ljungberg. The club has officially announced Emery’s exit and talked about Ljungberg taking over the charge.

“Our most sincere thanks go to Unai and his colleagues who were unrelenting in their efforts to get the club back to competing at the level we all expect and demand. We wish Unai and his team nothing but future success.”

“The decision has been taken due to results and performances not being at the level required. We have asked Freddie Ljungberg to take responsibility for the first team as interim head coach. We have full confidence in Freddie to take us forward.” The club statement revealed.

The 42-year-old, who had a successful stint with Arsenal, winning two Premier League and three FA Cup trophies is a part of the management team under Emery at Arsenal.

It has been further told that Ljungberg’s first game in charge will probably be against Norwich City on Sunday. Last night while playing against Eintracht Frankfurt, fans were furious seeing their team losing, some also brought ‘Emery out’ cards.
