Now the Ascension Teams will compete with one another in their own international league to determine the winners of the Ascension. The winning team of the Ascension League can stay in the VCT International League for two years. Now, the format for competing in each league is different. That is why, we will need to break down the format for each league separately.

All the matches will be a single round-robin. The six teams will be divided into two groups. All matches will follow a Best of Three format except the Grand Final. No teams will face elimination in the Group Stages.

The Group Stages will be played for Seeding only. Now, the team on top of Group A and B will directly advance to the Upper Bracket Semi-Finals while the 2nd and 3rd teams will go to the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.

The playoffs will be a double-elimination bracket. This means that if any team loses twice in a row, they are out of the tournament. The Grand Finals will be a Best of Five match.

EMEA

The Group Stages of this tournament will have a two-round robin format. All matches will be in a Best of Three format. The Top Two teams from the two Groups will go into the playoff stages while the remaining teams will be eliminated. So in essence, out of the 10 teams that will participate in the tournament, 4 will remain by the end of Groups.

The playoffs will be a double-elimination format. All matches will be Best of Three while the Lower and Grand Final will be Best of Five.

Pacific

The Group Stages will have two groups consisting of five teams each. The stage will be a single round-robin format and all matches will be Best of Three. The Top Three teams will advance to the playoffs. However, the No 1 team in each group will directly go to the Semi-Finals. The 2nd and 3rd teams will go to the Quarter-Finals.

The playoffs will be a single elimination bracket. You lose once and you are out of the tournament. The Grand Finals will be a Best of Five and the rest will be Bo3s as usual.
