Note: There are many tips in this Twitter thread, you can check it out by clicking on it. However, we are only going to be covering the ones that affect gameplay the most.
Tip 1 – Have an Efficient Practice Routine
1/ Have an efficient routine
Most peoples routines suck.
Get the best out practice out of the time you have.
I’ve created a range routine for students short on time, try it out.
• Substitute more training over ranked at start.
• Quality over quantity. pic.twitter.com/YjyGxe5YmD

Having a simple practice routine is essential to securing good gameplay. In addition to the tips above, you can also see a practice routine created by m1sfit. You can download it and save it for later use. Once you do adopt a routine, make sure to stick to it no matter how boring it seems. Repeating the fundamentals is the key to success.
Tip 2 – Learn from your Mistakes/Have a Growth Mindset
5/ Have a Growth Mindset
As someone who coaches 100s of you on a daily basis…
This is one of the biggest problems I see.
Having a growth mindset allows you to tackle new challenges with belief that you can improve.

Continuously innovating your playstyle and choosing to have a growth mindset are important to keep consistent. Learning from your mistakes and evaluating your plays will always have a positive effect on your playing. Embrace the tough opponents and challenges, they are the key to surviving in Valorant. There is always someone better than you which is the best part.
Tip 3 – DO NOT TILT
7/ Stop tilting
One of my biggest struggles in my career.
Over time you will learn:
People perform better when praised.
Vibe is everything.
If you tilt at your own plays, guess what?
You play worse.
Positive Attitude will make you win more. pic.twitter.com/7x8uWp2OBK

Perhaps the most important tip is to not get angry upon death from long range, or a running headshot from a Vandal. We all have been there, it is rage-inducing. But you have to keep a cool head and refrain from taking ego fights from those enemies. Make sure you keep your composure and aim properly. Do not engage in negative self-talk.
