As seen in the Tweet above, Sinatraa’s reply to a news article about his return prompted a funny response. He then clarified that he is not officially returning but streaming the tournament for content and views. However, he did mention that the team would try their best to win the whole thing. The team in question consists of another former SEN player, zombs, OpTic prodigy Marved, Prod, and Dizzy. Let us break down who they are.
First is Sinatraa himself who is an Overwatch champion who transferred to Valorant. He is an efficient Raze and Sova player; he can easily play a flex role. Next is zombs; he is a former VCT champion. He primarily played controller in the form of Astra and Omen. Marved is also a world champion who is a controller player. However, we have also seen him play Chamber sometimes. We do not know what comp this team will decide on, so it will be interesting to see what he plays.
Prod is a former content creator for The Guard. He rose to recognition and fame when his playstyle caught NA Valorant off-guard. He is a creative Jett player who can make the most unpredictable plays. The last member is Dizzy, who is a ranked demon. We have seen him play against Shroud, Shawn, and many other former CS: GO players, and he can easily hold his own.
With three former world champions in Esports in one team, it will be intriguing to see if the team wins the whole tournament. We will find out soon enough. VCT NA Challengers II begins on January 17th.
