As we can see the player count for the game has increased by millions from last year. That is due to Riot’s unbelievable promotional techniques such as VCT tournaments, Challengers, Game Changers, and social media hype. In addition, Riot’s crossovers with its other games such as LoLs and more are skyrocketing due to the interest in those games. These numbers make a statement to the world that Riot’s FPS has not lost the player count.

A lot of rumors were swirling around that the players who play Valorant are going to migrate to CS2 due to its growing popularity but as you can see, that is not the case. However, the real test is going to be the release of CS 2 during the summer. Compared to other FPS games like Overwatch 2 and CS2, Valorant has had a drastic increase in the player base. If this keeps up, then there is nothing stopping Valorant from capturing the No. 1 spot in FPS games, not even CS.

What do you think of this growing Valorant player base? Do you think it will reduce once CS2 comes out? Let us know in the comments below! For more Valorant content, click here!
