Valorant ranked has got a lot of “crypto throwers” who get into streamer’s games and sabotage them due to bet money.
Valorant had many “crypto throwers” quite recently. If you do not know who they are, Crypto Throwers get into the streamer’s game or bribe the teammates playing in the game to throw the match away to win a bet on a gambling website. It is easy money, which is why many people are doing it nowadays. As a counter, Tarik proposed a league that would prevent these from happening. Although we think it was just something, he came up with right off the bat. Let us break it down.

Tarik Proposes a League to Counter the Crypto Throwers in Valorant; Here are the Rules
First, Tarik saw a video by Tdawgg exposing most of the crypto throwers in the game. We will link the complete reaction down below for you to see. After watching, Tarik proposed an alternate league that will be exempt throwers like these. Speaking from the top of his head; he said that if players belong to an S or A Tier organization, they are automatically eligible.
If players are not from organizations, they would have to meet certain requirements; here is a list of the requirements.
- Finish Top 50 in the last three acts.
- The player has to be in contact with any team for the last six months to two years.
- Their rank should be Immortal 3+, with more than 500 hours of Valorant streamed.
Due to Tarik’s outreach, there has been a lot of awareness about these situations. Hopefully, Riot takes action and does something about throwing in general, not just in regard to Crypto Throwing. There has been no official response on Riot’s side regarding this problem, but due to all of the VCT Tournaments beginning, the timeframe for a response is getting slimmer. Let us see what happens in the future.
