Valtteri Bottas and Nico Hulkenberg are set to start from the back of the grid in Spa as both drivers have taken power unit penalties going into the first grand prix after the summer break.
Bottas had damaged his spec 2 engine in Austria and thus is taking a spec 3 engine at Spa, as the circuit allows some room for overtaking.
Bottas had already used three units of engine, turbocharger and MGU-H and thus will have to settle for a spot at the back of the grid.
The Finn would be ruing his luck, as he had suffered big time on and off the track this season.

Nico Hulkenberg would be joining Valtteri Bottas at the back of the grid. Hulkenberg will get a new set of Renault drive elements, thus exceeding the limit for engine , turbocharger, MGU-H, MGU-K, battery and power electronics.
Bottas and Mercedes would be hoping that they can fight hard and somehow get to the podium in Spa, as the constructor’s championship is getting really tight between Mercedes and Ferrari.
Both Ferrari and Mercedes will introduce their spec 3 engines for the next two races, as both Monza and Spa are power circuits. Ferrari had tested their spec 3 engines with customer teams in the last race. If the Hungarian GP is something to take cue from, Ferrari should be super fast in Spa this weekend.
