Virat Kohli responds to all the ‘Virat Beard Insurance’ talk

Virat Kohli has been enjoying his off-time from cricket, chilling with his loved ones and getting all his sponsorship commitments out of the way.

Kohli was scheduled to play county cricket with Surrey before the all important England tour in order to get himself match fit for English conditions.

However, Kohli’s stint with Surrey came to a pre-mature end as he had to cancel his County stint because of a neck injury that he had suffered during IPL 2018.

Kohli is now working on his rehabilitation so as to get completely fit for the Ireland T20’s that are slated to take place before the England tour.

What is the ‘Virat Beard Insurance’ talk?

A CCTV footage of Virat Kohli had surfaced on social media yesterday wherein two business executives were seen touching and examining Virat Kohli’s beard.

Social media was abuzz and the rumour mill suggested that Kohli was trying to insure his beard.

Speculations rose and KL Rahul too tweeted about the incident, asking Virat if it infact was true.

Virat Kohli has now come up with a tweet to troll his teammates on talking about his ‘beard’.

“The talk around my beard is quite entertaining. @klrahul11, @buntysajdeh, @yuzi_chahal, @y_umesh it’s popcorn time boys #ViratBeardInsurance,” Kohli tweeted.

#ViratBeardInsurance is trending at the moment and it will be interesting to see what the hooplah is all about. It looks like Virat has signed up for some beard brand and all this is just a build up for that announcement.
