Virat Kohli’s wishes work like magic for Harry Kane

Indian skipper Virat Kohli wished Harry Kane on Twitter and the English footballer scored two goals to see his team to victory.

The FIFA World Cup is currently going on and the fever is as high as it gets. The proceedings are under full flow in Russia and crowd is flocking in large numbers to see their favourite stars in action.

The rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi has been the talking point of the World Cup till now as Messi failed to match up to the hat-trick by Ronaldo.

Amid all this, England played the first match of the tournament against Tunisia. The group G match had a lot of fans waiting on their toes to see their favourite team trump the other. One such fan was Virat Kohli who tweeted before the match and wished the England Football Team luck.

He specially tagged Harry Kane, the mainstay of the English football team. As it turned out, the wishes of Virat worked like magic as Harry Kane scored two goals in the match against Tunisia.

The first one was in the eleventh minute. After the stipulated time frame of 90 minutes, both teams were level at 1-1 and the match went into extra time. It was a crunch situation as any team could have won on from there and it was all about nerves.

In the very first minute of the extra time, Harry Kane converted a cross through a header to see his team through to an exciting victory. Well, Kane now know who’s to be thanked!
