Sportspersons are the only other people who are as much followed by the public, if not more, as the actors or politicians. Indian cricket has always hogged the limelight as the sport is religiously followed by all sections of the Indian society. Indian cricketers have always been looked up to and have enjoyed celebrity status.
MS Dhoni is probably the most followed Indian cricketer. Mahi is not only an iconic figure but continues to inspire an entire generation. Recently, in a match against Ireland, Dhoni gave evidence of his greatness all over again as he carried drinks during the second T20I between India and Ireland.

Dhoni is one of the greatest cricketers that India has ever produced. He has close to 10000 runs in ODI and has various records as a wicketkeeper as well.
