This article will look at the 556 Icarus in Warzone 2. We will look at its strengths and equip attachments for the same.
The LMGs are in the current meta, to say the least. They are versatile, have low recoil, have enough long damage range, and can take out multiple foes in quick succession. One of the best guns to use currently is the 556 Icarus. We will focus on the gun’s positives with this class setup and try to make it the most versatile LMG in the meta. Let us look at the attachments.

556 Icarus Best Warzone 2 Loadout that Achieves the Perfect Range and Damage Balance
The first attachment we will use is an Optic of your choice. We prefer going for the AIM Op-V4 since it is a versatile pick for any LMG or any weapon you choose to use long-range. The next attachment will be an FTAC Ripper 56, ensuring our bullets stay on target when shooting at enemies. It provides recoil stability.
The next attachment will be an Echoless-80 Muzzle. This is the bread and butter of this class loadout as it will provide you with sound suppression, bullet velocity, and an increased damage range. To further make this class lethal, equip a Barrel of your choice. Ensure you choose a barrel that complements your playstyle and increases damage range and bullet velocity. The last attachment will be a Sakin ZX Rear Grip. This attachment will ensure that the gun does not skyrocket because of the previous attachments.
These are all the attachments. Choose Weapon’s Specialist as a perk package since it will allow you to carry a second primary. Use the second primary slot to put in a Fennec 45 or Vaznev 9k for close quarters. A lethal one like a Semtex and a Flashbang should be the ideal grenades for this loadout. What do you think of this loadout? Will you give it a try? Let us know in the comments below!
