The Call of Duty Warzone 2 Season 3 Update is going to be a blast. There will be a Resurgence for the Resurgence and Al Mazrah will not be enough to fit 150 players! That’s right there will be 150+ players in the same lobby and a new DMZ feature that involves bartering. Mid-April will have ranked play returning for all the competitive players out there. Let us break down everything we know!
Warzone 2 Season 3 Promises Chaos (and Lots of XP!) Here are the Features of the Update!
A new version of Resurgence called Massive Resurgence will see players on a larger Al Mazrah. The player count will increase and the weekly playlist offering will vary. Fan favorite Plunder mode will return from the original Warzone. For those wondering, Plunder is a mode in which two squads fight against each other to earn cash. Cash is collected by killing players, securing loot, supply boxes, and scavenging items. The team with the most cash wins.
Players will land with their loadouts so it is a great way for you to see what loadouts suit you the best. It is a great testing ground to try out loadouts. There is a new Gulag called Black Site. One can play in that Gulag by playing Gunfight from Multiplayer. This will be a great way to get the hang of the interiors and angles of the new Gulag.
There will be Redeploy Drones in the new update which provide a faster way of travel around Ashika Island. A Tempered Plate carrier system will also be available on Launch. You can learn about it through the Official Activision Blog here! We also have decontamination stations, Gulag Entry Kits, Deployable buy stations, and a lot more coming to the game In-Season.
The Barter System in DMZ will be useful for people who stock up on items. One can exchange those items for valuable ones in the Barter Stations. There will also be Workbenches that players can use to Modify their weapons. Ranked Play returns for Warzone 2 as well. All details about it are on the Activision Blog. There are a lot of multiplayer changes as well but those do not concern Warzone 2 players.
